We are now sold out of our Dark Chocolate Paenttone for pickup at Una, though we saved some traditional Semplice panettone (the same naturally leavened dough without additions) for pickup at the restaurant.
Our panettone is a seasonal sourdough collaboration with Infermentum, our friends in Verona, Italy. The dough is naturally leavened, and this year we have two different panettone. One is studded with dark chocolate, sea salt, and fresh lemon peel preserved only with water and sugar following an ancient French method, available for nationwide shipping on Goldbelly. The other is the Semplice – the same wild, naturally leavened dough flavored with traditional lemon, orange and vanilla, but without the addition of any chocolate or candied fruit; the focus is entirely on the dough. These panettone are a labor of love; every detail has been considered to create an artisanal product to celebrate the season the best way we know how.
