FAQ

Our purpose at Una is to inspire people through the relentless pursuit of excellence in everything we do. Over our 29 years in business, Anthony has made all the dough we serve and we are not open unless he is there to give all of himself to our guests. We are grateful for the support that allows us to continue to operate in our very specific, intentional way after all these years. We hope the below address your questions, and that we’ll see you soon.

Friends,

As you may know, my wife and partner Christina is due with our baby in early August. We are beyond excited for this blessing and can’t wait to welcome the newest member of the Mangieri family. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that this kid grows up and takes over the pizza making so I’m not making pizza when I’m 100 😉

Una Pizza Napoletana will be closed for the majority of August to give our family time together and our small team a break.

Reservations will now be released two days in advance at 9 AM, rather than our usual two-week window. This change is intended to help better manage service and scheduling in the event of an early delivery. Should the baby arrive earlier and we need to cancel reservations, our team will be in contact via email and text.

Reservations will start to release two days in advance on Tuesday 7/29 and will follow this schedule:

  • Thursday, 7/31 reservations will be released Tuesday, 7/29 at 9am ET
  • Friday, 8/1 reservations will be released on Wednesday, 7/30 at 9am ET
  • Saturday, 8/2 reservations will be released on Thursday, 7/31 at 9am ET

For updates, please check our website or follow us on Instagram.

Thank you for your kindness, understanding, and continued support.

– Anthony

HOURS

We are open Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 5 pm, with our last reservation at 9:15 pm. Periodically we may be closed for a private event, in which case we will make an announcement on Instagram and our website.

PARTY SIZE

The largest party size for dinner is 5 guests. Contact us for more details about private events.

RESERVATIONS

Due to the volume of inquiries, we are unable to accept reservations via email or by phone. Our reservations open up on OpenTable two weeks in advance at 9 am EST. If you have a specific date in mind, we recommend that you set a reminder to book on the morning it becomes available.

If you are unable to get the reservation you’d like, OpenTable has a “notify me” option where you can select a time frame to be notified if anyone cancels and a table becomes available.

WALK-INS

All of our dough is made each morning by our chef/owner, Anthony Mangieri. To accommodate as many guests as possible, we reserve one pizza per person for reservations. Though we always save a limited amount of dough and space for walk-ins (parties up to 5), we often have a line forming by 4 pm and depending on the size of the line, we often sell out of dough soon after we open before we can accommodate everyone on line. If you don’t have a reservation and would like to try to dine with us as a walk-in, we recommend that you come early, as we cannot guarantee that there will be availability. Once we run out of the dough reserved for walk-ins, we start a waitlist. Throughout the evening, if there are any cancellations or no-shows, we will text guests on the waitlist, followed by those on the OpenTable notify list.

PRIVATE EVENTS

If you are interested in hosting a group at Una, we accommodate full restaurant buyouts seven days a week for up to 120 guests. Learn more and reach out on our Events page.

DIETARY RESTRICTIONS

We don’t serve any gluten free pizza. We use 100% Italian flours and our dough is naturally leavened without any commercial yeast.

Our Marinara pizza is vegan, as are our marinated olives, roasted peppers, lupini beans, and sorbetto.
